Morris Arboretum membership cardholders must present a valid membership card and a photo ID (driver's license, student ID, etc.) for each member to the gate attendant in order to gain free admission and to enjoy all of your membership privileges!

You will be asked to pay admission if you cannot present your current membership card(s) and photo ID(s) to the gate attendant.

.Admission includes free parking. Please note: Parking adjacent to the Visitor Center is sometimes at capacity on nice weather weekends. If you visit after noon, you may be required to park at the bottom of the hill and be shuttled into the garden.

Discounts accepted:

  • American Horticultural Society -- Participating members of the Reciprocal Admissions Program through the AHS receive two-for-one admission on weekends and free admission during weekdays.  This benefit does not include access to members-only events.  The Arboretum has excluded Pennsylvania Horticultural Society members from this benefit (see below) as part of RAP Local Exclusion Guideline.

  • Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) members receive $2 off admission.

  • WHYY card--$1 off admission (up to four people in one party)

  • AAA card--$1 off each admission

  • Penn Alumni--$1 off each admission
    *Free family admission on Alumi Weekend. May 9-11, 2008

  • PennCard -- free admission for students, faculty and staff members only with valid PennCard.

NOTE: only one discount per person, per visit.

The summer time extended hours are a great time to experience the Garden Railway Display, take a casual evening stroll, or enjoy an intimate family picnic in the garden. Dinner is also available during these late summer hours at Morris Arboretum Café by Bruno's until 7:30 pm. Visitors may also bring their own picnic supper (on these Thursday evenings only).
