Natural Critters Workshop

Come join us for a fun workshop where you can create a wonderful assortment of natural critters made from a wide assortment of dried materials. If you’ve ever been to the Brandywine River Museum in December to see their decorated holiday trees you’ll be inspired. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination. They make great for gifts for the holiday season. All materials will be provided. If you have a glue gun, bring it, along with an extension cord, as well as a box and some tissue paper to take your critter creations home.

Floral Bows: Tie One on the Healthy Way

Did you ever want to close your eyes and magically have a beautiful floral bow made in your hands? This workshop will teach easy tricks how to get your fingers twisting and tying colorful ribbons to make professional looking bows just in time for the holiday season. Everything is included and success is guaranteed.

Dried Flower and Herb Wreath Workshop

Learn how easy it is to make beautiful dried wreaths using flowers, pods and herbs. You’ll also learn about the care and handling of dried materials, and the best places to purchase them. The class will include a variety of wreath making techniques, and you’ll make one wreath (approx 10 – 12”) to take home and enjoy. You’ll be inspired to make wreaths as gifts for the holiday season. Cost includes everything. Guaranteed success.

Thanksgiving Cornucopia Arrangement

This festive fall arrangement is also known as the “Horn of Plenty,” a symbol of food and abundance dating back to the 5th century B.C. You will fill your cornucopia with a seasonal assortment of fruit, flowers and vegetables to design a festive arrangement for your holiday table or a gift for the hostess. Workshop includes everything and is appropriate for all levels of experience.

Holiday Wreath Making

This workshop is designed for those who want to make their wreath from fresh loose boughs of greens. You’ll work with a wire ring and spool wire to construct your wreath. There will be a selection of ribbons and decorations to make it festive. All supplies will be provided. Bring a pair of garden gloves and pruners.

Boxwood Holiday Tree with Lights

You will create a special centerpiece that is sure to put you in the holiday spirit. Design your own tree from long lasting greens, choose your colors for bows and glass balls with fresh flowers to decorate this spectacular holiday centerpiece (22 – 24" tall). Lights are added to make the tree really festive. Your tree arrangement will last for four to five weeks.

Holiday Centerpiece

Design your own festive, fragrant arrangement to enjoy in your home or to give as a gift. In this workshop you will learn professional tricks of the trade to create a beautiful display of assorted evergreens. There will be an assortment of candles, flowers, fruit and accessories for you to customize your centerpiece. Bring clippers and a box to take your centerpiece home. All other materials will be provided.
