Additional Information for Internships
Payment and Housing
As full-time staff members of the University of Pennsylvania,
interns work a 40-hour week at an
hourly rate of approximately $9.18.
Interns must commit themselves for the full year term.
Arboretum staff assists the interns in finding housing by providing a list of nearby moderately priced possibilities. Occasionally there are opportunities for interns to live with hosts and exchange work around the home of their hosts for reduced rent.
