For a truly enchanted evening at the Arboretum, mark your calendar for Friday, June 13. Join friends, neighbors, and colleagues as we enjoy an evening in the Rose Garden at the annual Moonlight & Roses fundraising gala. Funds raised from the event will support the Arboretums Out on a Limb – Tree Adventure Exhibit. Advisory Board Chair and loyal supporter, Ann Reed is the evening’s honoree and Lisa Butler and Marggy Ells, this year’s Moonlight & Roses co-chairs, are working very hard to ensure that this event will be a spectacular celebration.
The party begins at 6pm with cocktails in the Rose Garden and continues with dinner and dancing under the stars. Once again, guests will have the option to dine in one of two tents – the “Moonlight Tent” featuring soft music in an intimate setting (behind the Widener Visitors Center) or the “Rose Tent” featuring the music of Jellyroll, the party band back by popular demand for their sixth year at Moonlight & Roses.
New this year, Benefactors, Patrons and guests with special needs will receive premium valet parking passes for parking at the Widener Visitors Center. All other guests will park at Bloomfield Farm and will be shuttled in trolleys to the event. Also new this year, there is a “Young Friends” dinner option as well as cocktail only option for those 35 and under.
Reservations are required and space is very limited. Invitations will be mailed to all Chestnut members and above, as well as to previous Moonlight & Roses donors.
