Members’ Lecture –“On the Eaves of the World: Collecting in Gansu, China”

Join Curator and Director of Horticulture Anthony Aiello as he discusses his trip to China in September-October 2005. Part travelogue, part horticultural journey, Tony will describe why the Arboretum participates in plant collecting expeditions, the purpose and goals of these trips, and the Arboretum’s history in plant exploration. Winter Wellness Walks
Saturday mornings at 10:30AM in January and February
Join the Morris Arboretum for Winter Wellness Walks this January. The Arboretum’s Wellness Walks encourage visitors to step outside and get some exercise in a beautiful winter environment. An Arboretum guide will lead participants down paved paths throughout the Arboretum. Walks are approximately 3 miles and free with admission. Interested participants should meet outside the Morris Arboretum Visitors Center on the Saturday(s) of their choice and be ready to walk by 10:30AM.
