This sculpture's title is derived from gemini, meaning twins, and germination, signifying the beginning of growth. While the low shapes seem like fragments from two different eggs, the tall forms convey a human presence. One suggests a stooped, hooded figure, who is both protective and menacing. Another resembles a woman's form, defined by fluttery drapery. The other consists of two halves ambiguously wrapped around each other.
