This imposing Chinese Buddha can provide a vertical centerpiece for your garden or add drama to a living room or porch. This peace-invoking Buddha, traditionally used to induce contemplation, once stood in the shade of a Japanese maple tree in the Japanese gardens at the Morris Arboretum. The Morrises purchased it in 1909 from an Asian import firm in Boston. |
