Group Tours |
We welcome tour groups of all ages and interest levels. Our tour programs focus on the special features of the Morris Arboretum, while integrating themes adapted to each group.
We offer a General Tour of the Arboretum to both adult and children's groups, and a number of special interest tours are described below.
Please note the following special information:
• Tour dates must be reserved at least three weeks in advance.
• Each tour presentation lasts approximately one hour.

General Tours

Winter Walk

Focus on the variety of bark and tree shapes, hollies or other berry-bearing shrubs, and the wider vistas at the Arboretum in winter. |

Wellness Walks as a Guided Exercise
all ages
The Arboretum's Wellness Walks encourage visitors to step outside and get some exercise in a beautiful environment. Paths are paved and there is always something new to look at in every season. An Arboretum guide will lead participants along paved paths throughout the Arboretum. The lentgh of the walk can be geared toward the group with a minimum of one mile.

Fernery

A fine example of the Victorians' interest in collecting and displaying ferns. A small class could examine the diversity of ferns in this collection. Read more about the Fernery. |

Sculpture at the Arboretum

A stroll around the Arboretum, focusing on the variety of sculptural presentations on display. Learn about the artist's backgrounds, and discuss what each piece contributes to the landscape. The Wildlife Tour focuses on the interdependence of animal and plant life at the Arboretum. Participants look for signs of wildlife activity throughout the garden. |
