The Mixed Border is planted with many of the same types of plants that are found in the Rose Garden but in a completely different style. This informal double border contains many bright jewel-colored perennials, woody plants, and specimen roses that provide interest throughout the year. This vibrant and exciting garden draws people from the Rose garden and leads them to the Victorian Fernery.
