Scheduling Your Tour to the Arboretum
If you would like more information about a particular tour or help in choosing a tour topic, we are more than happy to help you through this process.

Call between 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday at least three weeks prior to the desired tour date.
Please have the following information ready when you call:

Group name, mailing address, and phone number

Leaders and Chaperones' names

Name of Arboretum tour you wish

Date and time of desired tour, as well as several alternative dates

Number of attendees visiting
For student tours:
Grades and ages of students

LUNCH OPPORTUNITIES
There are no indoor eating facilities but we have a great outdoor, stroller and wheelchair accessible lunch area just for kids! Eating lunch is permitted in this designated outdoor area beside the Widener Visitor Center by reservation only and on a seasonal basis (when available, the lunch area can accommodate up to 60 people). The area has tables, chairs, umbrellas, and vending machines for snacks and drinks. Since we are an environmentally minded organization, we ask all groups to place garbage and recyclables in the appropriate containers provided. When you call, you can also ask about information on nearby parks offering group picnic facilities.

Chaperones 7.00*
*All groups must bring one chaperone to accompany every ten students (through grade 12). These chaperones will NOT be charged. Any additional chaperones above the required number will be charged the amount above.
