The Horticulture Center supports the Arboretum’s daily operations in a healthy and environmentally friendly facility. It has been awarded Platinum Level LEED® Certification, setting an example for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design on a local, regional, and national level. Green roofs, geothermal wells, constructed wetlands, recycled materials, energy efficient buildings and solar panels are some of the demonstration features. Tours are from the ground only. (45 mins.)
