First-year students apply for housing online after they have been admitted to Penn by logging onto http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/decisions, and clicking on "My Housing".

Transfer Students

Transfer students apply for housing online after they have been admitted to Penn by logging onto http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/decisions, and clicking on "My Housing".

Exchange Students

Exchange students coming to Penn for a full academic year or one semester only (fall or spring) may apply for housing online at https://myhomeatpenn.upenn.edu. You must have a Pennkey and password to apply.

College of Liberal & Professional Studies Students

Full-time LPS students may apply for housing by completing and returning the housing application/occupancy agreement.

New Graduate Students

Graduate Housing is available at Sansom Place.  Apply at https://myhomeatpenn.upenn.edu beginning April 1 for the fall semester and October 1 for the spring semester.

Undergraduates (Academic Year)

Current residents applying for the next academic year apply through the Undergraduate Room Selection process. Information and timeline is posted on this site in December. The process typically takes place between January and March.

If you are applying after the Undergraduate Room Selection process, apply online at https://myhomeatpenn.upenn.edu. You need a Pennkey and password to access the application.
