Application Proccess
For your convenience Penn has an online application available at www.admissions.upenn.edu/decisions. If you have lost your Admissions' PIN and password, please contact Admissions by email to eapps@admissions.upenn.edu.
Before completing your application, please familiarize yourself with the choices available to you in our College Houses and Residential Programs and review the rent schedule to learn the room types and associated rates.
Please note that transfer students are also eligible to apply for housing within the undergraduate community in Sansom Place.
Application Deadline
Applications are accepted throughout the summer and processed on a rolling basis beginning mid-June as space is available.
Room Selection and Assignment
While housing is not guaranteed, we make every effort to accommodate students who wish to live on campus. At this time in the assignments cycle, room availability is limited because current students have already selected rooms. You are encouraged to apply early, list up to eight House and Program choices, and vary your selections. If living on campus in any room is important to you, then you should indicate this in the appropriate section. Otherwise, you will only be considered for the preferences you’ve listed. If you are interested in gender neutral housing, please select this option. (Please review gender neutral housing policy available at www.upenn.edu/housing/genderneutral.html before applying.) Be aware that once you are assigned a room, there is a cancellation fee if you decide not to live in University housing for any reason.
