
Correctly addressed first class mail is sorted into student mailboxes Monday through Saturday. Correct addressing is vitally important to speedy delivery of mail through the postal system and to residents.
In all buildings, mail is sorted and delivered by Datrose, Inc, an outside vendor contracted by the University to manage residential mail and package services. While we encourage students and their families to use FedEx services, packages are accepted from most couriers; students will receive an email notification that a parcel has arrived. The email and a valid PennCard must be presented in order to retrieve the package.
During Move-In, alternate notification may be used, e.g. package slips in student mailboxes, or lists posted at pick up locations during this high volume time.
