Off-Campus Housing and Fraternity & Sorority Houses

Penn will have a staffed trailer in Hamilton Village on the main green area between the high rise buildings from May 10th through May 14th. Off-campus residents who would like to contribute to PennMOVES should bring their items to the trailer between the hours of 8 AM and 8 PM from May 5th to May 14th and May 18th to May 20th.

Dumpster Locations (TRASH ONLY):

  • 3900 block of Sansom (mid-block)
  • 4000 block of Delancey (mid-block)
  • 40th & Pine (N.E. corner)
  • 41st & Filbert (N.E. corner)
  • 4100 block of Spruce (N.W. corner)
  • 41st & Sansom (S.W. corner)
  • 43rd & Pine (N.W. corner)
  • 45th & Pine (N.E. corner)

Important Reminders

  • Use clear bags whenever possible so trash pickers can window shop and not rip apart bags. (Ask your landlord for some clear bags.)
  • Put trash out on the regular or special City trash collection days or take the trash to the dumpsters. Do not leave your trash on the sidewalk at any other time or you will be fined by the City.
  • Dumpsters are for trash only! Need a recycling bin? Call UCD at 215-243-0555.

Universal Waste

Cell phones, compact fluorescent lightbulbs (CFLs) and all types of batteries can cause harm to the environment if not properly disposed of. To keep these materials out of landfills, we have added a collection box to the lobby of all College Houses and Sansom Place.
