Your room should be clean, in good repair and contain furniture as listed in the inventory below. At the end of the academic year your room will be inspected and you may be charged for items such as:
- Holes in Walls or Doors (only holes one inch or larger)
- Damaged or Missing Furniture
- Ceiling Damage
- Carpet or Tile Damage (only with sub flooring visible – not frayed or stained)
- Dirty Rooms or Trash Left Behind
- Other Major Damage to Room
Any major problems that you are concerned you may be charged for should be reported to myroom@pobox.upenn.edu. To submit a work request for Facilities, call Facilities at 215-898-7208 during the move-in period. After the move-in period, please submit work requests using Facilities Focus. This can be found on the Penn Portal web page.
Please review the following inventory list for your room and building, and compare it to your room’s condition and furnishings when you moved in. Any discrepancies can be emailed to myroom@pobox.upenn.edu. This will simply report the discrepancy. You should also then request the needed repairs or furniture needs by submitting a request for repairs via Facilities Focus, through the Penn Portal, under "Residential Facilities".
