Advertising Opportunities

During this 2007-2008 season, we are initiating a brand new advertising campaign to increase business partnerships within the West Philadelphia and University City communities. . During this time, we are offering an extra incentive to purchase advertising space located throughout our arena. By purchasing one of our advertising packages this year, you will receive 100 free skating passes for your company's employees to enjoy our facility.

We are thrilled to offer you this brand new opportunity, especially with the many exciting events that are scheduled for the upcoming 07-08 season. These events include: University of Pennsylvania and Drexel collegiate ice hockey games (all season), Liberty Bell Invitational Collegiate Tournament, Wharton Wildmen ice hockey (all season), Wharton Wildmen Cheese Steak Chalice tournament (6-8 business schools April) and four seasonal tournaments featuring 12 local youth ice hockey teams. When purchasing advertising at the Class of 1923 Arena, all other similar companies will be blocked from advertising within the arena. Companies will also be encouraged to increase their advertising efforts during our large events by utilizing information tables to increase visibility to our customer base.

The demographics of the rink industry are active families and males between the ages of 18-50. Most visitors spend between one and three hours in the rink during each visit and tend to visit more than twice per month. This captive audience will be more receptive to your advertisement than any ad crammed into a newspaper, ignored during a radio broadcast or seen during a television show. Along with your 3'x 8' advertisement on the rink dasher boards, you will receive a 100 x 100 pixel advertisement space on our website and a first refusal right for all renewal periods.

If dasher boards are not original enough for your advertising, you may want to consider our Zamboni package. As the center of attention during all resurfacing times through out the day and night, your advertisement will be the prominent focus of attention for the patrons who love to watch our ice resurfacer at work. Every public skating session, Penn and Drexel hockey game have at least three ice cuts that fans are present during. Every student, child and parent will have their focus on the Zamboni as it cleans the ice; imagine the amount of exposure gained.

This cost effective marketing strategy would attract the local customers your company desires. As a small business within Penn's community, we understand the value of each marketing dollar spent.
