Penn Vet Ice Cream Debut
One of the highlights of the event was the debut of Penn Vet Ice Cream, provided by the Marshak Dairy at Penn Veterinary Medicine’s New Bolton Center campus in Kennett Square.

On Tuesday, September 29th, Bon Appétit at Penn Dining hosted the 2009 Eat Local Challenge. Within each café, there was one designated station highlighting a lunch option made with ingredients from within 150 miles of Penn. (The only exception is salt.) The challenge provided an opportunity for Penn faculty, staff and students to not only demonstrate support for a better earth, but to also rally the President’s Climate Action Plan in creating a more sustainable campus environment.
