New Buses for Penn Transit Services
Penn Transit Services is introducing its new fleet of buses. Pricing for advertising is still extremely reasonable at $30.00 per interior card per month and $350.00 per exterior bus backs for internal advertisers. Advertising space will not remain this low and may be subject to change as we enter the Fall season. Book your space early!

Color Forecast
Color choices in graphic design can communicate powerful messages. Each year Pantone Color Matching System forecast the color trend for the coming year. This coming year will see more choices to emphasis the environmental concerns, you’ll see more cool blues. Blues are becoming the new “green”. They suggest environmental responsibility in a more contemporary way. Also becoming popular are the warmer metallics like bronze and copper. These colors are not just warm, they’re hot!

Stationery
The United States Postal Service (USPS) has initiated specific requirements governing mail addressing which will directly impact your stationery orders. The Postal Service has introduced new bottom up address scanning, where the SECOND line from the bottom of the address is scanned for the exact location. In order to qualify for reduced postage, all University mail must conform to the current USPS addressing standards. Publication Services is enhancing its on-line ordering system to make it easier for users to comply with USPS standards when ordering stationery. To see examples of proper automation compatible addresses please see the Penn Mail Services website at:

PURLs—Personalized Web Pages
Want to engage in highly personalized two-way communications with each member of your target audience? You can with Personalized URLS (PURLS).
A Personalized URL (PURL) is a web address that incorporates the recipient's name. For example:
www.Alumni.com/JohnSmith
Using PURL technology, you can create unique landing pages for each individual in your marketing campaign. Instead of sending your direct mail and email responders to a one-size-fits-all web landing page, with PURLs you can engage your valuable prospects by serving them highly relevant information, products and offers. On the PURL, you can collect more pertinent data about John so you can personalize future direct communications to his specific needs and interests.
