Design

Color Forecast

Color choices in graphic design can communicate powerful messages. It's that time of year when the Pantone Color Matching System forecast the color trend for the coming year. This coming year will see more choices evolving to the direction shaped by broad social, economic and technological factors. Fear, minimalism and optimism stoked by the Great Recession; the expanding influence of foreign cultures as a result of Globalism influence the color trend. A natural, practical color palette is emerging, browns, greens, light beige with a splash of reds and purples.

To find out more about how color an impact your communication piece, contact Monica McVey at mcvey@upenn.edu

Printing

Save Money On Your Bulk Mailing

All Non-profit or First Class Presorted mailings must use the Penn Permit/indicia. Save money on your bulk mailing by having the Penn Permit/indicia printed onto your mail piece during the printing stage rather than ink jetted onto the mail piece at the lettershop stage as a separate process.

Please contact Denise McShea at Publications Services (dmcshea@upenn.edu) if you have any questions about how to use the permit/indicia properly.
