Permanent full- and part-time employees of the University of Pennsylvania who are not participating in the parking permit program are eligible to purchase TransitCheks. TransitChek vouchers look like a personal check with a pre-printed amount. They come in denominations of $15.00, $30.00, $35.00, and $65.00. Up to $230 worth of TransitCheks may be purchased through payroll deduction on a pre-tax basis. The following regional transit providers participate in the TransitChek program: SEPTA, Dart, NJ Transit, Amtrak, and PATCO. PATCO Freedom Pass holders may contact the Parking Office to arrange linking their Freedom Pass to payroll deduction.
