Penn Transit maintains a fleet of passenger vehicles available for charter by the University community.
It's easy for your group to get a ride with Penn Transit -- just follow these four steps:
1. Determine which of our charter vehicles is right for you. Move your mouse over each

4. Complete the online charter service reservation form and we will contact you to confirm your requests.

Rates
All charters include a certified University driver and are subject to the terms and agreements of collective bargaining with Teamsters Local Union 115, which govern the following rate structure:

Additional Charges
*Add $1.25 per mile in addition to the hourly rate, calculated at the end of each trip.
*Add $5.00 per hour for the 33 and 47 passenger luxury coaches on weekdays.
*Add $10.00 per hour for the 33 and 47 passenger luxury coaches on weekends.
*Add $50.00 lavatory fee for the 47 passenger MCI Luxury Coach.
Cancellation Fees
- Weekday cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $140. cancellation fee. If cancellations are less than 4 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, the fee is $220. Cancellations after charter start time will be charged at a 4 hour rate plus miles accrued.
- Weekend cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $240. cancellation fee. If cancellations are less than 4 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, the fee is $280.

Policies
- All charters have a four (4) hour minimum charge. Pricing begins 30 minutes prior to the designated pick-up time and concludes 30 minutes after the drop-off time.
- There is no EATING, DRINKING or SMOKING allowed on any University vehicle used for Charter Services without prior approval.
- All charters must be accompanied by a budget code (object code 5340) for confirmation.
