If you're in Penn Transit's service area off-campus, we can take you back to campus between 6pm and 7am. If you're West
of campus, we can even take you to another off-campus location. Penn Shuttles provide door-to-door service, while the Penn Bus
will pick you up at any stop sign or traffic signal along its route. It's easy to get a ride with Penn Transit from off-campus
-- just follow the steps below.
If you'd like to take Penn Shuttle
- When you're ready to go, call 215-898-RIDE
- Give your location, destination, and last name to the dispatcher
- Wait inside your building if you'd like
- Check regularly for your Penn Shuttle van. An "X", "N", or "E" will be lit up on top of your van.
- Your Shuttle will arrive 5-20 minutes after your call. It will wait for 3 minutes outside of your location and will use the horn if requested.
- Have your PennCard available to show to the driver
- Confirm your destination with the driver upon boarding the vehicle
If you'd like to take Penn Bus
- Check the Penn Bus schedules to find out when the next bus will start its route
- Check the Penn Bus maps to find the nearest intersection with a stop sign or traffic signal along its route
- Wait at that intersection
- Have your PennCard available to show to the driver
From 3am to 7am, a limited on-call service is available. Please call
215-898-RIDE or 8-RIDE from a campus phone during these hours. Waiting
times may be longer.
