Become a Member of the University Club at Penn!

Membership is open to Faculty, Staff, Alumni, Graduate Students, Emeritus and Retired Faculty and Staff!


The Club's membership year is from September 1 through August 31
and annual dues are only $60.00.
Membership dues for
Emeritus and Retired Faculty and Staff of the University are only $45.00.


For all FIRST YEAR Faculty and Staff new to the University
(since July 01, 2009) membership dues are WAIVED
for the first membership year (through August 31, 2010)!

Membership privileges include:

· Complimentary Morning Refreshments:
Begin your day at the Club with coffee and pastries from 7:30am to 10:00am Monday through Friday. A perfect location for an early meeting, relaxing with the daily newspaper or catching up on conversation with friends and colleagues.

· Lunch:
Only $10.90 for the famous Harrison Room buffet lunch, offering hot entrees, soup, salad, rolls, made-to-order sandwiches, dessert and beverages. A light lunch option is also available for only $8.00 with your choice of soup and sandwich or soup and salad, plus a beverage. And the newest addition is lunch take out, to go limited to sandwich or salad, along with a beverage, for $8.00 all-inclusive per person. Lunch hours are from 11:30am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday.

· Private Events:
Bring your campus group or department meeting to the University Club! Reserve any of the Club's dining rooms for a private event. The Hourglass room, available for luncheon or dinner, can accommodate groups from 25 to 50 guests. The Harrison room can accommodate larger groups, up to 80 or 100, for late afternoon and evening events. For smaller groups, the Lenape room seats up to 10 guests and is available for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

· Special event dinners:
The University Club provides an elegant, evening dining experience offering our chefs' culinary expertise for special menus and theme dinners.

· 10% Discounts at Penne Restaurant and Wine Bar and the University Living Room at the Inn at Penn.

· Access to 100+ Faculty Clubs in the United States and around the world via your automatic membership in the Association of College and University Clubs (formerly AFCI).


Individual Membership

New members can apply and current members can renew online. Pay your membership dues by credit card online through our secure, online payment processor, VeriSign. (You will be taken to VeriSign's secure site to enter your credit card number).

For Faculty and Staff new to the University (since July 1, 2009), membership dues will be waived through August 31, 2010. Submit your application now.

If you prefer to pay the dues by check, please fill out the online form choosing "pay by check" on the first page, and then you will be able to download and mail our membership form.

Department, Division, School Membership

A department, division, school can apply for membership to be used for department business with all charges paid through the department. Download the department membership application form (PDF file) to print and mail.
