Courtney Dombroski

Director, Communications & External Relations

Courtney Dombroski will assume the division's Director of Communications & External Relations role in September 2024. She will act as the primary contact for stakeholders and constituents seeking to interface with the division, and represent Business Services in various committees and governance forums across the University—particularly those related to student-facing services. She will also play a critical role in business development by collaborating with departments to measure service delivery levels through focus groups, surveys, and benchmarking. 

Courtney joined Penn in 2015 as House Dean for Harnwell College House and transitioned to Residential & Hospitality Services (RHS) in 2018, most recently serving as its Director of Strategic Initiatives & Planning. In addition to leading RHS communications, she was responsible for long-range strategic planning, operations, administrative activities, and cross-campus collaboration. Courtney holds a Bachelor's from St. Joseph's University and earned two Master's degrees, in English Language and Literature and Humanities, respectively, from Rosemont College and the University of Texas at Dallas.
