Penn Transit Services rebranded its four weekday campus bus routes on August 3, replacing directional labels with color-coded names that reflect the corridors and destinations each route serves.

The change is a direct response to student feedback. Surveys and focus groups conducted over the past year flagged confusion about the old directional names Penn Bus East, West, and North, with riders asking for clarification about where the buses actually travel.

• Penn Bus East is now the Rittenhouse Square Loop.
• Penn Bus West is the Baltimore/Spruce Loop.
• Penn Bus North is the Powelton/Spruce Loop.
• Pennovation Works is now the Pennovation Works Day Loop. 

Riders can see the new names and color-coded badges on bus displays and A-frame signs at Penn Transit stops, as well as in the PennTransit Mobile app.

Routes, stops, and schedules remain unchanged.
