Gavin Roark

Assistant Vice President, Residential & Hospitality Services

Gavin Roark is the Assistant Vice President of Residential & Hospitality Services. In this role, he provides strategic leadership and oversight for a broad portfolio of university departments and business operations, including student on-campus housing, on-campus dining, Off-Campus Services, Conference Services, and the University Club.

Gavin joined Penn in 2025, bringing with him extensive experience in student affairs and campus operations. Prior to his current role, he served as the Executive Director of Residential Life & Housing at Virginia Commonwealth University.

He holds a Master’s degree in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Mississippi State University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communication from Austin Peay State University.
